Born: February 3, 1821 Died: May 31, 1910 She was the first woman doctor. She studied at Geneva Medical School. She practiced at Le Materne, then she practiced at St. Bartholomew's Hospital. Both were in Europe. She founded a women's medical college and a women's and children's hospital.
